Doug Compton

PIIAC Board Director

Doug Compton is a Colorado native who grew up in Littleton. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University, with a concentration in small business consulting.

Doug began his career as an Environmental Protection Specialist with the U.S. Army in Tooele, Utah, before returning to Colorado to pursue a career in insurance.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Doug has held key roles in claims, state office operations, territory management, and agency ownership. He currently serves as Director of Sales at FUSA Insurance Agency, where he leads strategic growth and sales development.

Outside of work, Doug enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with his two adult children and two grandchildren, and heading to the mountains to fish and hunt. He also shares his love of trains with his grandkids, working together on a backyard train project.
