Advocacy and Lobbying
PIIAC’s Political Action Committee (PAC) and InsurPac (the National PAC) ensure the voice of the Independent Agent and the small businesses are heard and represented on a state and national level.
FAIR Plan
The FAIR (Fair Access to Insurance Requirements) Plan is a program designed to provide property insurance coverage for homeowners and businesses when coverage is unavailable through traditional means. The Board of Directors is made up of representatives from insurance companies, consumer advocates, and professionals in the Colorado Industry. PIIAC CEO, Bryan Bernier, has been named CHAIR of the Colorado FAIR Plan Board.
Legislative Session Updates
PIIAC hosts biweekly update meetings during each Colorado Legislative Session. You can also find regularly updated resources regarding the CO as well as the National Session, and join the PIIAC Government Affairs Committee to stay in the loop.
