National & State PAC

What is a Political Action Committee?

A political action committee or PAC is a group that is formed to give money to the political campaigns of people who are likely to make decisions that would benefit the group’s interests.

YOUR STATE PAC

The PIIAC Political Action Committee is a non-partisan organization dedicated to supporting candidates for the Colorado Legislature and statewide offices who are responsive to the needs of independent agents and consumers.

By contributing to your state PAC, you play a vital role in:

  • Establishing and strengthening legislative relationships
  • Supporting elected officials who recognize the significance of a robust insurance marketplace
  • Promoting awareness of the essential work you do to protect Colorado from the unexpected

Your support helps ensure that independent agents and brokers have a voice in shaping policies that matter.

*PIIAC PAC does not contribute to federal candidates.

YOUR FEDERAL PAC

This non-partisan political action committee raises funds for contributions to candidates for national office on behalf of independent agents. InsurPac is a vital part of the IIABA’s Government Affairs program that depends on the support of members like you. With your help, InsurPac helps like-minded elected officials remain in office where they can be a voice for independent agents and small businesses.

What does the State PAC do?
  • Advocates for independent agents by proposing and supporting legislation that protects your business and your clients.
  • Opposes harmful legislation that could threaten the independent agency model.
  • Increases awareness among lawmakers about the unique challenges and benefits of independent insurance agencies.
  • Ensures consumer choice and fair competition in the Colorado insurance market.
  • Povides critical updates on legislative actions that impact your business.
Why should I support the State PAC?
  • Your Business Depends on It. Laws and regulations shape the industry you work in—your contribution helps elect leaders who support independent agents.
  • 100% of Every Dollar Stays in Colorado. State PAC contributions go directly to state and local candidates who understand the importance of independent insurance agencies.
  • Strength in Numbers. The more agents who contribute, the stronger our collective voice becomes at the Colorado Capitol.
Does the State PAC buy votes?

No. Candidates and public officials are honorable people whose votes are not for sale. But by helping elect business-minded public policy decision-makers, out State PAC assures independent insurance agents the opportunity to present our views and be heard.

PIIAC fully complies with all state and federal election law.
