Reem Asefaw

Accounting Assistant

Reem was born in Asmara, Eritrea, East Africa, and moved to Colorado in 2017. She attended George Washington High School, graduating in 2020.

Reem earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado. She is trilingual, fluent in Tigrinya, Amharic, and English. Prior to joining PIIAC, Reem gained experience in property accounting with the National Storage Affiliates Trust (NSA) and completed a private equity internship with Gen II Fund Services, LLC. She is eager to contribute to the success of PIIAC’s Accounting and Finance department, as well as the organization.

Outside of her professional life, Reem enjoys outdoor activities, challenging herself by hiking Colorado’s 14ers and exploring new adventures.
