Denver, CO: The Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado (PIIAC), representing nearly 500 independent insurance agents across the state of Colorado, has donated to The Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership/A Precious Child. PIIAC donated 24 rolling bins to the relief center in Superior, CO. The bins will allow volunteers to easily move donations around the center and allow those impacted by the fires to collect the items they need from the donation center.
“What the people impacted by the recent fires are going through is heartbreaking. We hope this donation will help support the relief efforts that will assist those most in need”, says CEO of PIIAC Bryan Bernier.
“The generous support of our partners through the Colorado Business Emergency Operations Center (BEOC) and volunteer agencies, has proven invaluable at a time like this in aiding us in recovery efforts; the combined efforts of these groups really are a force multiplier,” said Derek Killebrew, Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management private sector liaison. “The Colorado BEOC is very grateful to have partners like PIIAC and so many other private sector partners, who have stepped up at a time of need for our state. These valuable relationships are the core of what makes our work successful in response and recovery efforts.”
