HCIT Market Access with PIIAC
As a member of PIIAC, you will have access to HCIT, a Flood, Earthquake, and Landslide policy, that was established in 1975, and has provided catastrophe insurance protection for these types of losses that aren’t generally covered by standard homeowners policies.
HCIT: How It’s Different
The HCIT program is insured 100% by underwriters at Lloyd’s of London. No quoting is necessary. The premium table is located on the front of the application. It includes all applicable policy and state surplus lines tax and fees along with the premium cost located to the right of the replacement cost of the dwelling.
Up to 1 million in coverage
No elevation certificates or flood CE required
Options for 5% and 1% deductible (1% is if the mortgagee requested it)
10 day waiting period that can shortened to 5 days
Policy will automatically renew
